Amyx is seeking to hire a Accounting Data Development Specialist (Internediate) to support DHS CWMD in the Washington, DC area. The Accounting Data Development Specialist shall have experience in computer, accounting, or database development. Proven skills in database development with a comprehensive and detailed knowledge and understanding of financial database development.
Must have strong analytical and policy analysis backgrounds. Working experience with data warehousing, extraction, and integration methodologies in medium-large scale computing environments. Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests. Superior skills with Microsoft Office programs (Access,
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Assist CWMD/DNDO & CWMD/OHA with the continued implementation of the two financial management systems. The financial management system for CWMD/DNDO’s entity is Oracle’s Federal Financials (version 12) and its Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) module and Oracle Business Intelligence Analytics tool. In addition, each agency utilizes other financial software tools such as MarkView’s workflow management. The financial management system for CWMD/OHA’s entity is the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS)
Program management support to assist the CWMD/DNDO & CWMD/OHA PMs with the planning, budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, reporting and coordination of the project execution.
Provide subject matter expertise on Government Financial systems.
Support the Federal Shared Service Provider (FSSP) and DHS Joint Program Management Office (JPMO) provided training on the financial system. The current FSSP is the Department of Interior’s Interior Business Cent (DOI/IBC).
Develop and deliver desk-side and group training to augment training from the FSSP and/or DHS JPMO.
Create documentation in support of the system implementation and operation (e.g., policies, procedures, desk guides, etc.).
Assist in all aspects of Organizational Change Management to plan for and implement new business processes.
Provide support to users on system functionality, based upon provided training, and be able to identify when a user’s encountered issue needs to be escalated to the technical system matter experts at the FSSM and/or DHS JPMO for resolution.

Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 10 years’ experience in specialty or a High School diploma and 15 years of direct experience in federal government and/or military accounting.
