Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior System Infrastructure Lead to support Product Lead (PdL) MilTech Solutions information and knowledge management requirements at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. This position may require some travel (less than 5%) to functional contract sites at both locations and geographically separated units. This position will support a large IT service program that includes application development, maintenance, administration, and management tasks.

Responsibilities

The Senior System Infrastructure Lead is responsible to provide leadership and technical expertise for maintaining the readiness of all MilTech’s environments. The candidate shall lead the Infrastructure team responsible for a diverse range of engineering and hosting activities including performance monitoring, performance analysis, systems architecture, and general debugging.

 

The Senior System Infrastructure Lead must be capable of performing network engineering functions including conceptualization, design, implementation, and optimization. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in the application of current and emerging network software and hardware technology and protocols in the Army and DoD environment and have extensive and expert knowledge of SQL servers.

Qualifications

Required:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, or related scientific or technical discipline
• Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience with full life-cycle support including development, maintenance, administration, and management
• CompTIA Security+, MCSE certifications

 

Desired:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, or related scientific or technical discipline
• Cisco Certified Systems Expert (CCNA), or Dell - Certified Systems Expert or CSSIP
