Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Program Manager (PM) to support Product Lead (PdL) MilTech Solutions information and knowledge management requirements at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. This position will require up to 10% travel to functional contract sites at both locations and geographically separated units with the contingent United States and some overseas locations. This position will support a large IT program that includes software development, portfolio management, cybersecurity, and research and development tasks. The PM will be responsible for overseeing the activities of project teams in accomplishing specific government requirements. Duties will include development and management of program/project execution plans; review and/or approval of project activities necessary to achieve program milestones; administering and managing annual budgets; ensuring quality control, performance management, and process improvement goals, standards, and objectives are met in accordance with customer-defined requirements; monitoring and evaluating project managers and their teams; and overseeing recruitment of required qualified personnel.

Responsibilities

Creates and maintains a program management plan, including an Integrated master Schedule (IMS), financial reporting, quality assurance, quality control, strategic and operational planning, progress/status reporting, and program reviews. Creates, updates, and monitors a risk matrix for the program, following corporate and customer procedures and escalation plans. Actively works to identify and mitigate risks to program performance and objectives. Leads meetings with government and non-government stakeholders to review status of program activities, deliverables, and risks. Will supervise and direct technical teams responsible for information and knowledge manager services at multiple sites.

 

The PM will support, maintain, and manage personnel responsible for the using the following technologies in support of customer requirements:

• milSuite (Jive, Media Wiki, WordPress)
• Document Management (Microsoft SharePoint) 6.2 Task 2 Consortium Support Cell
• Project Management (Microsoft Project Server, Corasworks, Primavera) • 6.3 Task 3 MilTech Support Center and Help Desk
• Single Interface to the Field (Remedy, Liferay)
• Personnel Accountability: MIRARS/Roll Call (.Net, SQL, Mongo and Twilio)
• Instant Messaging/Broadcast Capability (IBM Lotus Sametime)
• Decision Support Tools (Decision Lens, DOORS)
• Fortify
• Enterprise Search and Discovery (ElasticSearch, FAST)
• Business Intelligence (SAP, Microsoft SharePoint Analytics)
• Custom Application Development (ASP.NET, PHP, Java
• Taxonomy (Metalogix)

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering
• A minimum active Secret clearance at the proposal submission date
• Be employed by the Prime contractor at the date of proposal submission
• A minimum 10 years’ experience in the proposed position managing large scale contracts similar in size and scope
• Experience working with the U.S. Government stakeholders including senior leaders, Contracting Officer (KO), technical managers, and agency representatives
• Experience leading and managing a diverse group of IT experts including help desk subject matter experts, network administrators, network engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and other IT professionals
• Experience leading enterprise-wide horizontal integration, planning, and collaboration
• Ability to communicate fluently and effectively to senior leaders and program management team members
• Excellent interpersonal and people skills
• Demonstrated leadership of complex, remote and geographically separated teams
• Superb coordination, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to prioritize and display a high level of adaptability/flexibility while handling job responsibilities
• Possess a solid background in IT project management with relevant work experience in a similar role

 

Desired:

• DAWIA Level III in Program Management or Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Experience deploying large scale hardware and software systems enhancements and/or upgrades for an organization with widely distributed geographic sites
• Experience with current and emerging network and infrastructure management technologies and business practices
