Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Testing Manager for a remote position supporting our DLA Automated Material Handling Equipment (AMHE) contract. The Testing Manager will assist a dynamic technical team to formulate/define specifications, modify/maintain, design, code, test, debug, and document applications. This position will serve as key point-of-contact to advise and assist with all software testing duties, vulnerability identification/remediation, and design. Demonstrated experience and ability to supervise a team of test specialists and manage complex, state-of-the-art test programs. The Test Manager will be able to translate complex program requirements into testable objectives, analyze and recommend test cycle, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed test objectives. Ability to manage and work effectively with diverse organizations and personalities to execute a successful test program. Ability to apply complex test methodologies and compensate for limitations and restrictions. Must have detailed familiarity with commercial test environments and operating procedures. Ability to develop overall test strategy to include objectives, methodologies, analysis, and schedules. Able to independently assess system performance against stated requirements. Ability to apply test discipline to design a thorough and executable test program. Able to lead analysis efforts to dissect output data, interface with the client, and provide clear results and recommendations.

The Testing Manager will work as part of a diverse technical team to support warehouse modernization efforts both CONUS and OCONUS.

Work may include occasional travel and on-site work in industrial environments and/or customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist facilities, engineering, and administrator teams with troubleshooting.
• Perform basic debugging, testing, maintenance, and updates on systems and applications.
• Work with local OT personnel on any issues network, software or system related to testing initiatives.
• Assist teams with continuity of operations (backup) planning and execution.
• Support numerous commercial, DoD supplied, and internally developed software applications for current and legacy systems.
• Assist with changing DoD security requirements.
• Support applications, system development, and modernization.
• Communicate and coordinate with contract leads and customers.

Qualifications

Required:

• NACLC and IT-II eligibility.
• Experience with programming languages, analysis, and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with secure development practices (e.g. STIG, OWASP) and DevSecOps.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.

 

Desired:

• Security+ CE certification (IAT II) strongly desired.
• DoD or other government experience.
• Training or certification in Operational Technology (OT) to meet DLA Computing Environment (CE) requirements.

Salary: 70,000-110,000

Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
