Amyx is currenlty looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support our client DHA in San Antonio, TX 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Daily Tasks: Shall assist and support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) with implementation and integration of procurement systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions using Agile processes. We are looking for an experienced, resourceful Senior Business Analyst to help implement a contract writing system and procurement-related functionality within the existing financial management system. Under minimal supervision, you will work as a member of the Acquisition Systems Division team, working closely with the customer to gather requirements and configure the modules to support procurement functions.

  • Interfaces and communicates with the client and executives on a day-to-day basis.
  • Possesses experience in leading and providing technical direction involving multiple projects of high complexity.
  • Demonstrated and proved communications skills with all levels of management.
  • Deliver presentations and lead senior level client meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction for specific tasks and sub-tasks of projects under these services.
  • Proven ability to manage multitask projects of high complexity.
  • Assist to ensure projects are completed within the estimated timeframes and budget constraint.
  • Ability and initiative to set goals and execute.
  • Coordinate and conduct customer work sessions to gather and document requirements.
  • Develop subject matter expertise for system capabilities.
  • Self-starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and put new skills to use.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to properly prioritize, multi-task and work collaboratively with our project team.
  • Assist to prepare and present systems training to users.
  • Provide support and assist with system user issues.
  • Provide support on any other identified tasks.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business. One year of related work experience may be substituted for each year of required education.
  • Knowledge of the procurement business process.
  • Possess 3-5 years of experience within the DoD procurement systems.
  • Possess 3-5 years of experience performing process improvement, business analytics, gap analysis, corrective actions, standard operation procedures (SOP) development, and/or Policy development.
  • Possess 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, Estimation, and Planning.
  • Possess 1-2 years of experience in procurement field in the public and/or private sector.
  • Knowledge (minimum of 3 years) with IT systems functional analysis, requirements design, test development, and test execution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in working both independently and with a team to solve problems.
  • Self-starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and put new skills to use.
  • Experience working in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings to facilitate and support the contract requirements.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting systems training to users.
  • Provide support and assist with system user issues.
  • Provide support on any other identified tasks.
