Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Software Developer to support our contract with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). 
 
 

Responsibilities

  • Provide system design and prepare detailed specifications for the application based on identified functional and technical requirements.
  • Participate in agile technical design reviews for each established Sprint; participate in Sprint meetings as needed 
  • Installing, configuring and developing customized code for HCL Commerce
  • Coding new applications from predefined programs specifications
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
  • Resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Participate in development of software user manuals. 

Qualifications

Required:
  • 3 years of experience - HCL Commerce or equivalent preferred
  • AT I (Network+) or higher 
  • National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) or Secret
  • Computing Environment Certification from a nationally Recognized Technical Authority (ITL, SCRUM, PMP, AWS, etc)
 
Desired:
  • HCL Commerce V9 experience
  • HCL Commerce functional architecture (e.g. store, catalog, merchandising, marketing, orders)
  • HCL Commerce frameworks (e.g. Command framework, MVC,)
  • Common HCL Commerce data models (User, Orders, Catalogs, Promotions etc.)
  • HCL Commerce messaging infrastructure (inbound and outbound, REST, MQ)
  • HCL Commerce development environment, GIT repos
  • Good experience with REST APIs
  • Java and J2EE development (e.g. Spring, core JAVA)
  • DoD, DLA and/or federal government experience
  • Large Application Support Experience
  • Life-cycle Documentation DoD 5000.2
  • Agile Development Knowledge
  • Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) in order to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models.

Physical Demands
