Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a remote Task Order Project Manager to support the Document Automation Content Service (DACS) project in a tele-work environment. The Task Order Project Manager will oversee large, complex task orders and work collaboratively with stakeholders, including the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Task Order Managers, Government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. This role is responsible for ensuring technical solutions and schedules are implemented effectively, aligning with project goals and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:

  • Serve as the project manager for one or more complex task orders, providing oversight, coordination, and leadership.
  • Assist the Program Manager in engaging with Government stakeholders and ensuring effective communication with the KO, task order-level managers, and other key personnel.
  • Lead the overall management of task orders, ensuring the timely implementation of technical solutions and adherence to schedules.
  • Conduct risk assessments and performance monitoring to proactively address challenges and ensure project success.
  • Manage and monitor project deliverables, ensuring compliance with DLA requirements and quality standards.
  • Prepare reports such as Weekly Activity Reports (WAR), Monthly Status Reports (MSR), and other required deliverables.
  • Oversee resource allocation, team coordination, and alignment of project activities with the DLA’s Agile playbook SOP and other applicable guidelines.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of relevant experience in IT or consulting, including leadership roles with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector.
  • Experience managing large, complex IT task orders, including coordinating schedules and ensuring technical solutions align with requirements.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) or four (4) additional years of related experience.
  • Security Clearance: Active IT-II, Secret, or NACLC security clearance.
  • Certifications:
    • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.
    • DoD 8570 IAM Level III Certification (e.g., CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or CCISO).
    • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent recognized certification).

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of DoD-approved standards and procedures for IT systems and project management.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in telework environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
