Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Help Desk Specialist to support our DLA Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Tier 2 Help Desk project. 

Responsibilities

  • The Help Desk Specialist provides trouble shooting support to a user community employing computer systems and networks.
  • Diagnoses problems and provides applicable remedies.
  • May serve as a team leader in operations.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experienced in computer hardware and software systems.
  • Minimum (2) years of experience
  • Understands how programs use computer hardware.
  • Shift supervisor or lead diagnostician experience
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • bachelor’s degree
  • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
  • Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at HQ DLA (Fort Belvoir, VA) or other places of performance in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Desired:

  • Experience at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
  • Experience with the PIEE Common Operating Environments (COEs)

Physical Demands

Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
