Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Systems Administrator for our Defense Logistics Agency client, remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.

  • Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems.

  • Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.

  • Conducts capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.

  • Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.

  • Provides end user training.

  • Provides recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.

  • Provides local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location.

  • Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.

  • Directs the work of other system administrators to provide the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance.

  • Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance.

  • Performs vulnerability management.

  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications include: Oracle WebLogic Server 12c or higher, Oracle Identity Management, Oracle Analytics Publisher, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Oracle Restful Data Services (ORDS), Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, Oracle Database 12c or higher, Business Objects, Splunk, Autodesk License Manager, IBM Products, Lenel, Teammate, HighGear, ESRI ArcGIS, Adobe AdHoc, IIS, Apache/Tomcat, WorldSpace, Perl, DB2, ColdFusion, Power Pick Global

Qualifications

Required:

  • BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of specialized experience. (Specialized experience is defined as progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, where the majority are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, at least four years of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
  • Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission

Desired:

  • Have experience managing Design and Operational technical teams that support enterprise Oracle Fusion Middleware platform with over 300,000 users in production environments.

Salary- 80,000-140,000
