Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire an Operations Research Analyst to join our DAI Program Support Team in a 100% remote position. The position will support the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Data Analytics Support Team, to develop analytically driven tools , reports and dashboards using Qlik and ServiceNow in support of the DAI dashboard and PEO SPM, oversee implementation of the DAI Dashboard, analyze DAI data and implement process improvements for the DAI Dashboard and PEO reporting. This position resolves problems with software responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements, develops new metrics and analytical reports. Acts as team leader on projects. Participates in development of software user manuals. Develops metrics and reports for DAI that enables DAI leadership to assess the overall health of DAI. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers and teammates on the metrics team. Formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using utilities from the manufacturer.  Evaluates new and existing software products. Advises the PMO on the best technology to use for each initiative or tasking.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Qlik Sense development experience: The candidate should have hands-on experience with Qlik Sense development, including creating visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
  • ServiceNow:  The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, dashboarding capabilities and analytics power
  • Data modeling: The candidate should have a strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts, as well as experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes.
  • Technical skills: The candidate should have a good understanding of programming languages such as SQL, Python, and JavaScript, as well as experience working with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and web services.
  • Analytical skills: The candidate should be able to analyze data and provide insights to stakeholders, as well as have the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues within the Qlik Sense environment.
  • Communication skills: The candidate should have excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders, end-users, and IT teams to gather requirements, present solutions, and provide support.

 

Technology used:

QLIK,  DataBricks, ServiceNow, PowerBI, MS 365 Suite

The ability to use OR software tools, including Qlik Sense, to develop and implement solutions that can help in decision-making processes.

Qualifications

 

Required:

- Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
- Minimum five (5) years experience
- Qliksense experience
- Database management
- Query development

- SharePoint experience

- ‎ServiceNow Experience

- Writing, reviewing & publishing documentation
- SQL programming
- Develop, maintain, & export reports
- Developing data visualizations (experience developing charts, graphs, etc – developing ways to visualize data so others can interpret/understand it)
- Experience scheduling reports

- Simulation and forecasting: The ability to use simulation and forecasting tools to predict future outcomes and to create scenarios that can help in decision-making processes.
- Business acumen: The candidate should have a good understanding of business processes and be able to align Business Intelligence (BI) solutions with business goals.

- Continuous learning: The candidate should be willing to continuously learn and keep up-to-date with the latest Qlik Sense features and best practices, as well as other relevant BI technologies.

Salary- 150/160K
