Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior (Sr) Database Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) on-site in Philadelphia, PA . The Sr Database Administrator will provide all activities related to the administration of computerized databases. They will be responsibility for projects long- range requirements for database administration and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function. They will design, create, and maintain databases in a client/server environment.
Required:
• Five (5) years of progressive experience of database query languages such as Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.
• Three (3) years of hands-on experience and expertise in Relational Database Management Systems. Experience also shall include capability to work on various operating systems and additional programming languages.
• Has experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database.
• Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission.
