The Operational Technology Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and other OT environments. This role performs a variety of security-focused engineering tasks supporting specialized information assurance challenges in OT systems. The engineer integrates cybersecurity processes with industrial systems, ensuring secure system design, deployment, and operation while maintaining critical OT functionality.The position requires hands-on involvement in system security assessments, risk management, secure architecture design, and the implementation of technical controls to safeguard OT assets against cyber threats. The engineer will work closely with IT, OT, and cybersecurity teams to balance operational requirements with security best practices.
Technology used:
Experience securing and analyzing OT environments, including knowledge of: Modbus/TCP, EtherNet/IP, IEC 61850, ICCP and DNP3, BACnet and other OT protocols.
