Overview

Amyx is looking to hire an Applications Programmer Sr. This position will serve as the sustainment lead/ sustainment SME. They will provide expert level knowledge of sustainment life cycle management activities for programs and project operations. Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • The Applications Programmer Sr will have the following responsibilities:
  • Provide expert level knowledge of sustainment life cycle management activities for programs and project operations.
  • Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts.
  • Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts.
  • Translates detailed design into computer software.
  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and refines the computersoftware to produce the required product.
  • Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
  • Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency.
  • Provides technical direction to programmers, as required, to ensure that program deadlines are met.
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology related field with ten (10) years of relevant experience.
  • Expert experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations.
  • Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models.
  • Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
  • Experience developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models.
  • Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
  • Experience as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS, knowledge of computer equipment, and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission
