Amyx is seeking to hire an Oracle Application DBA to support the DLA DMLSS Apps Dev contract in the Philadelphia area. This Position is for a Senior Oracle Database Developer with experience as an Application DBA creating all necessary Oracle Objects (Tables, Packages, Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, Synonyms, Sequences…) and conduct code reviews to provide full comprehensive database development support to an Application Development team. This is NOT a Systems DBA position.
Develop new features and enhancements for multiple Defense Logistics Agency systems including performing ongoing database development of new features and enhancements to medical supply and pharmaceutical applications, managing tables, sequences, triggers, indexes, and PL/SQL packages and procedures. Architect, Design, Develop and Implement Oracle Database objects and services to support back-end business processes and data interchanges and DOD Web-based Medical Supply Chain focused Business Applications. Provide on-site and off-hours user support for Defense Logistics Agency medical supply systems including interface with development and user teams within and across product suites; triage, investigate, and provide resolutions for internally and externally user reported issues. Conduct code reviews as part of the Infrastructure team to maintain security posture.
