Amyx is seeking  an Expungement Processor to join our Air Force program at Quantico, VA.

The Expungement Processor supports the Department of the Air Force criminal justice records expungement, challenge, and correction program at AFCJIC. The role processes requests, coordinates compliance activities, prepares official responses, and helps ensure required corrections are accurately submitted to the appropriate criminal justice agencies and systems.

• Primary Responsibilities

  • Process criminal justice record expungement, challenge, and correction requests in accordance with AFCJIC procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Review supporting records and documentation and coordinate actions necessary to resolve requests.
  • Coordinate compliance activities and required corrective actions with Government personnel and AFCJIC stakeholders.
  • Prepare official responses and notifications concerning the disposition of expungement, challenge, and correction requests.
  • Notify requestors of outcomes and maintain accurate documentation of actions taken.
  • Ensure required corrective actions are submitted to the appropriate agencies and criminal justice information systems.
  • Support accurate and timely maintenance of Department of the Air Force criminal history record information.
  • Support a seamless Government-contractor team at the DAF-CJIC performance location.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility where required for assigned duties.
• Experience with records processing, case processing, compliance, legal or law-enforcement records, or a closely related function.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review, document, and process legally consequential records.
• Ability to prepare professional written correspondence and coordinate actions across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work full-time at the Government site in Quantico, Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, AFOSI, law-enforcement, or criminal justice information environments.
• Experience with criminal history records, expungement, record challenges, record corrections, or FBI CJIS-related processes.
• Experience with III, NCIC, NICS, or comparable criminal justice information systems.
• Current AFCJIC mission experience or other directly comparable incumbent experience.
